Limited edition lithograph of Pfalzgrafenstin Castle near Caub on the Rhine River, by D. Campbell. Edition 6/85 The original painting has cubist and abstract expressionist influences. The use of broad stroke lines are reflected in the terracing of the mountainside and for the waves in the river. The angular nature of the castle structure is very unique. The painting's mood is enhanced by the use of varying shades of blue punctuated by a soft peach. Signed lower right.
