With a particular love for the Irish coastline, mountain ranges and lakes, Blair began his artistic career in earnest in the early 1970’s. His work has been influenced by great landscape artists such as Frank McKelvey and J H Craig. He has a particular affinity with the west of Ireland, often visiting Counties Galway, Donegal and Mayo to seek inspiration for his work.
