This circa 1960s ink on paper cityscape is by San Francisco painter Jack Freeman (1938-2014). Freeman studied at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, with Oskar Kokoschka’s School of Vision in Austria, and received his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in the late 1960s. Freeman kept a studio in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood, just a few blocks from our salon, for nearly forty-five years. Initialed lower left. The piece will be shipped in a mat to fit a standard sized frame.
