The Fish is a beautiful drawing in pencil on paper realized by Jan Peter Verdussen in 1755 ca. Hand-signed and dated on the lower in pencil. In good condition, and aged. The artwork represents the still life scenery of fish through deft strokes. Jan Peeter Verdussen (1700 - 1763) was a Flemish painter, draftsman and printmaker. He is known mainly for his battle scenes, incidents of camp life and equestrian paintings. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
