This mid to late 20th century acrylic on paper mounted to paper board figure painting is by California artist and poet Jane Rades (b. 1942). Rades attended the University of Wisconson- Milwaukee and studied painting at the San Francisco Art Institute from 1963-1965. She was influenced by the Bay Area Figurative Movement and Post-Impressionists, and has exhibited in San Francisco widely. Rades is a published poet and lives in San Francisco.
