This print, numbered 52/120 and signed in pencil, illustrates the artist's characteristic dreamlike and organic world, enhanced by a flat blue area. Jean Clerté, a major engraver of the second half of the 20th century, trained at Stanley William Hayter's Atelier 17. His works are held in several French public collections. The print is presented in its original frame. Very good overall condition, with a light patina and some discreet foxing consistent with age. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
