The Airport'' is an original drawing in watercolor on paper, realized by Jean Delpech (1916-1988). The state of preservation of the artwork is good except for some small cutaway on the margins. Sheet dimension: 17.5 x 25 The artwork represents an airport with vivid color, joyfully created, through light colors of watercolor. Not signed. Jean-Raymond Delpech(1988-1916) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator, who is most influenced by the country of his childhood. he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. He won his first prize of Rome in engraving intaglio in 1948, then gained much success in Italy. He also produced postage stamps, illustrations for books and magazines, theater sets (for Dullin), medals, paintings and even stained glass. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
