Jodi Reeb-Myers Information/linear Abstract Mixed-Media & Collage Artwork - A Pair

Chairish

$2,400

Fabulous set of two contemporary Jodi Reeb-Myers Information/Linear abstract, mixed-media, and collage framed artwork, one-of-a-kind. Hand signed by the artist on the lower right and titled by the gallery on the back. The two pieces share a similar aesthetic, characterized by a mixed-media that blends abstract geometric structures with organic, nature-inspired motifs. A work that explores the relationship between nature, geometry, and layered history. It utilizes a grid-based geometric composition made of interlocking rectangular blocks, these blocks are distinguished by their varied textures, botanical organic seeds and leaves motifs, and an earth-toned color palette designed to mimic the natural aging and weathering or patina of the natural world, including shades of sage green, dusty rose, terracotta, ochre yellow, slate grey, creamy beige, charcoal, forest green, burgundy, and navy blue. The style is characterized by "nature-inspired and surface patina," where the artist builds up rich surfaces through multiple layers of material. Silhouetted seeds and leaf shapes are integrated into several blocks, referencing the cycles of nature. The artworks are housed in contemporary square matte black solid wood frames with a deep profile to the inward-sloping interior edge. They feature a black linen fabric matting with a thin recessed decorative gold-finished inner lip that separates the dark frame from the matting. The art surface is protected with glass. This style is commonly used for modern and abstract art to add subtle texture without overwhelming the artwork. It enhances the painting's visual appeal by adding depth and making the artwork stand out, inviting viewers to lose themselves in its abstract beauty. These pieces are stunning coordinated sets for home or office decor. The price listed is for a set of two artworks.
