Since 1976, Archuleta has devoted his work to rendering landscapes, particularly forest scenes. His style ranges from contemporary to traditional impressionism. Some paintings are thin wash like, others are impasto. Juan Archuleta's work has been advertised in Architectural Digest, and Southwest Art Magazine.
