Judith Daner designed this pair of superb Mid-Century modernist enamel on copper artworks. Each panel is one tile plaque mounted on the original walnut wood frame. The abstract and stylized design features cityscape and various types of buildings. Judith Daner used the stenciling technique so that the artwork has a layered dimensional effect rendered in red, orange, dark red, brick, and black enamel colors. All the various colors are set against a natural pink-copper sky background. The process making took multiple firings to accomplish. The signature is on each panel in the bottom right corner with the initials "JD." The artworks are in good condition, with no chips and no repairs. One plaque shows light hairlines on the center top part, but they do not significantly affect the overall appearance. Check the close-up. Measurements for one panel: Frame size: 11 in wide (28 cm) x 16 in high (40.5 cm). Plaque size: 7.5 in wide (19 cm) x 11 in high (28 cm).
