La Jument du Prince et le chien de la Princesse is an original lithograph realized by Frenc artist Honoré Daumier in 1832, plate 424 from La Caricature n°203. In good conditions. Included a frame. This lithograph is Representing a Woman-animal character hoofing toward a man standing behind her, a dog is in a left side and man has the traditional French cloths, and playing a small drum. The scenary could be a kind of private feast as it made a joyful and playful atmosphere. Honoré Daumier ( 1808-1879) is a French printmaker, caricaturist, painter, and sculptor, whose many works offer commentary on social and political life in France in the 19th century. Daumier is famous for his satirical commentary on social and political life predominantly through his lithographs of which he produced and he is best known for his caricatures of political figures. Daumier’s works are found in many of the world’s leading art museums, including the Louvre, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Rijksmuseum. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
