"La Merienda" (The Snack) is a cubistic style still-life that is dynamic and eye catching. It includes many interesting components such as a mandolin, fruit bowl, vase of flowers, and a tea pot. The shading and flowing lines create a nice sense of depth and movement. It is rich in color and would be a great piece for accenting decor in a variety of rooms. This still-life is part of my earlier cubism portfolio. It is painted with oil on a hand stretched canvas that measures 38" x 30". It comes with a simple frame that really compliments the piece. The complete measurement with frame is 40.25" x 32.25". The frame can be easily removed if so desired.
