A magnificent and highly detailed mid-century grand format (30 \times 40 inches) watercolor and tempera painting on authentic silk panel titled "Silver Pheasant." The composition features a striking white silver pheasant perched majestically upon an aged, mossy tree trunk, surrounded by blooming white camellias, vibrant red flowers, and delicate bamboo leaves. The lower right features the traditional replicated signature block reading "Respectfully painted by your servant, Lang Shining," complete with the artist's personal red command seal. Backed by excellent provenance from the historic Newburgh Galleries of Evansville, Indiana. Condition: Immaculate vintage condition with no foxing, fading, or water damage. A true collector's statement piece.
