Beautiful etching of a horse by Charles Lewis Kratke SC. Kratke was an artist that worked in France 1848-1921. He was known for his portrait and military genre painting and etchings. This may have been a study for one of his military paintings. There is the artists signage in the lower left corner and is in a more contemporary mat and frame.
