Very large painting of post Renaissance Italian cherubs. Measures 64 inches L x 53 inches in H., needs a grand space to display this painting. Painted in muted colors adding to the style of the old masters. Adoring scene of cherubs playfully gathering around one another. One cherub affectionately placing their hand under the other's chin and another placing a lamb on his back legs as to welcome him In Renaissance Art the lamb with cherubs represents innocence, gentleness and purity. Framed in original carved wood and gesso frame. Signed by artist and dated 1890, however the bottom of the 8 seems to be missing but I know it cant be 1990 judging from the old canvas and paint.
