An original watercolor painting on paper by Edward Smith, British artist 1820-1893, "Moonrise, Old Bridge, Tewkesbury", an evening scene of the house on the far side of the river, a bridge to the left and center with the river reflecting the moon, 9 3/4" x 12 1/4", indistinctly signed in the lower left corner front, inscribed on reverse - "Moonrise, Old Bridge Tewkesbury" (Gloucestershire, UK). Purchased from an east of England auction house January 2021. Framed with museum matboard and backing, Museum Glass and 5/8" International silver over black moullding.
