Such a cool aerial photograph purchased from Ellen Miller Gallery at ArtBasel 2000ish. I love the geometry and color palette from afar and then the realization the it is composed of the front end of semi trucks as you move closer. This is artist Alex MacLean, pilot, photographer, and environmentalist commenting on the impact of man’s activities—in a textured, intriguing way. Will miss it as I downsize.
