Original Oil on Canvas Landscape Painting by listed Artist John L. Egenstafer. Signed lower right. The painting is of a fenced farm with a barn and an out building on an unpaved road. The artist's signature bare tree is in the foreground. It is in a dark stained, oak, shadowbox frame with an ebony band. A linen liner with a gold filet surrounds the painting. The framed piece measures 20"W x 3"D x 17"H; the image size is 14"W x 11" H. The painting is in very good condition, just a few light yellow spots in the blue sky. I didn't notice these until I took photographs. The frame is also in very good condition, there are a few light scuffs which are really hard to see because of some light gold highlights scattered over the frame. There is a spot in the black band that looks as though paint could be missing; however, this is a patch of the gold highlights. The linen liner is evenly toned with a little rough spot in the fabric just under the artist's signature.
