Impressionist pastel on heavy paper by Washington State artist Susan Flora Glendenning (born 1948). Landscape of a lavender field, probably in Oregon or WA; signed lower left and inscribed NPS for National Pastel Society. Glendenning was born in Virginia and trained at Meredith College in Raleigh, graduating in 1971. She continued her education in North Carolina before spending time in Europe.
