Vintage Large Fang Mask features an elongated heart-shaped face painted in white /black/brown, typical of the Fang tribe in Gabon. Measuring approximately 29.5" h by 12.25" w by 8" d, it was used by spiritual leaders during rituals to dispel malevolent forces and symbolize abundance and success. These masks, along with other African tribal art, inspired Pablo Picasso's renowned works in Cubism.
