He did watercolours, oil paintings, made drawings and sketches in a romantic atmosphere. Young women, portraits, children, still lifes, markets, beaches and parks, with a nice smooth brushwork and very colourful palette His way of working was influenced by: Pierre Auguste Renoir and Robbert Archibald Antonius Joan (Rob) Graafland.
