The Alpine is a watercolor and ink drawing on ivory-colored paper, in the 1930s realized by Luigi Bompard (1879-1953). Hand-signed on the lower margin. In good condition, except for some foxing and folding. The artwork is depicted through soft strokes with harmonious and delicate colors through deft strokes and in a well-balanced composition. The Figures are created by mastery in the scene. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
