Vintage oil painting on board by Marc Berlet, featuring a colorful Cello. This piece was given wedding gift by him to his dear friends Armand and Rita, circa 1994. Berlet, born in Pont Chateau France, studied at the Ecole de Beaux Arts in Paris where his creative passions flourished. He moved to the United States and began stretching canvases for Mark Rothko while working on his own art in the studio of Fritz Bultman. Berlet later moved to New York, where he quickly became part of a circle of artists whose work and experiences would leave a lasting impression and contribute to his understanding of great art. His sculptures have been exhibited in the Musee D’Art Moderne, Salon des Realitees Nouvelles and the Gallerie Breteau in France. Berlet’s work has been commissioned by both commercial and private collectors. He currently resides in Miami, Florida. Dimensions: 32" x 48"
