Roman Arch (Arch of Constantine) is an original screen print on paper realized by the Italian artist Marco Orsi (1926 - 1999). Hand-signed on the lower right in pencil, numbered on the lower left, edition of 85/100 prints. Titled on the lower center in Italian. In very good conditions. The artwork represents the Roman historical Arch of Constantine through delicate and precise strokes, by congruous and harmonious bright colors. The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch in Rome dedicated to the emperor Constantine the Great. That was commissioned by the Roman Senate to commemorate Constantine's victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge in AD 312. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
