Hand-signed and numbered (27/50) by the artist on the lower margin with pencil. Mariano Villalta (1928-1984) "a tightrope walker poised between the territories of figuration and abstraction" In his painting is present the tragic dimension of existence, the legacy of the great Spanish tradition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
