Circles is a beautiful colored serigraph realized by Mario Padovan in 1977. Hand-signed in pencil on the lower right. Numbered on the lower left, the edition of 22/50 prints. Very Good conditions. Authenticity label by La Nuova Foglio on the back. This artwork belongs to the artist's series of Op Art artworks. In the late sixties and early seventies, indeed, Padovan focused his artistic research on the Op Art movement. In this period, he made three different types of works, based respectively on the reference to graphics screens for the decomposition of an image, on collages, and on reflections. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
