Mario Padovan, Hidden Flowers, Original Screenprint, 1970s

Chairish

$527

Hidden Flowers is an original colored serigraph realized by Mario Padovan in the 1970s. Hand-signed in pencil on the lower right. Numbered in pencil on the lower left. Edition 20/50. Good conditions. Hidden Flowers belongs to the artist's series of Op Art. In the late sixties and early seventies, indeed, Padovan dedicated himself to experimenting with Op Art, which he essentially interpreted as a way to break down an image. Artworks referring to the graphics screens, collages, and reflections for the decomposition of the image all belong to this period. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
