Screen print on paper, realized by the Italian artist and pioneer of Abstract art Mario Radice (1898-1987), published in 1964 by La Nuova Foglio. This is an illustration of the homonym Charles Baudelaire's poem, from the French masterpiece Les Fleurs du Mal . Hand-signed and numbered in pencil and in Arabic numerals in the lower margin. from a total edition of 100 prints , including 17 artist proofs, numbered in Roman numerals and out of commerce. A colorful abstract composition plays with the squared shape and blue tones, incredible result of the artist's research and his full mastery of the serigraph technique. This contemporary artwork, in excellent conditions, is accompanied by Baudelaire's poem, printed on Fabriano watermarked olive green paper. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
