This number 9 of 50 is hand-signed and numbered by the artists and features a Día de los Muertos skull with a banner reading "Los Angeles" and features the inking style mark is known for. Mark Mahoney is a Boston-born tattoo artist, considered the “founding father” of “Black and Grey” art with a single needle. Many in the tattoo business see Mahoney as a living legend. Currently, he is the owner and principal artist at the Shamrock Social Club located on Hollywood’s famous Sunset Boulevard. His earliest clients included punk rockers such as Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols. Later he inked hip-hop rivals Tupac Shakur and Notorious BIG. Also counted among Mahoney’s celebrity clients are Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Danny Trejo, Mickey Rourke, Jared Leto, Russell Brand, David Beckham, and more recently Cate Blanchett and Amy Adams.
