She holds a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts of Gdansk where she studied with p)rofessors such as Teresa Miszkin and Aleksander Widynski and then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Katowice. Her favorite subjects are feminity and its stereotypes, the progressive idealization of objects, the relationship mother-daugther and the state of the art market. She simultaneously uses oil paint and acrylic paint, and in her installations she uses waste to create provocative forms from materials such as the covers of candy and chewing gum. Martyna Wolna has won several prices such as the first prize in the competition of artistic installations organized by the Conrad Festival in Krakow in 2013 and the second place in the 9th Triennial of Small Painting Forms in Torun, 2013.
