This lithograph is one of a group of men’s tailoring fashion plates that we recently purchased in Paris and are now available in our shop. This plate dates to 1937; it features men out for a stroll with a dog. The men are dressed in the latest of style in full-length overcoats and suits fully accessorized with hats, gloves, ties and pocket squares. Note the textures of the fabrics…you can almost feel them! These men went to their tailor for custom made attire and this tailor plate was most probably an original store display for the tailor shop. This is a RARE find! In excellent clean pristine condition. Large format…10 x 14 inches in size: comes custom matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 custom mat ready for standard size frame.
