This Max Bill rare vintage serigraph silkscreen print custom framed large Modernist exhibition poster is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection. The framed Modernist exhibition poster is published by The Galleria " L'Grup " Colonnata ( Carrara ), printed in 1992 in Italy by Morri-Allu ( MS ), in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the Scultura e Grafica exhibition at The Galleria " L'Grup " in Colonnata ( Carrara ) Italy. It features an Abstract artwork image by the artist Max Bill. Max Bill ( 1980 - 1994 ) was a Swiss architect, painter, typeface, industrial, and graphic designer. Bill is considered the single most decisive influence on Swiss graphic design beginning in the 1950's. His work is characterized by a clarity of design and precise proportions. As an artist he sought to create forms which visually represent the new physics of The Early 20th Century. The Modernist Bauhaus influenced artworks are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums. The framed Modernist large format exhibition poster print measures 27 7/8" W X 39 3/4" H X 1 1/2" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern bleached white oak wood satin eggshell finish museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation. It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition consistent with age and very light signs of handling.
