His celebrated career was built on transforming quotidian objects—scissors, cheese graters, keys, and architectural remnants—into what critics called “quiet relics of a pre-digital age.” Neufeldt exhibited at institutions such as the Pasadena Art Museum and was featured in major design publications throughout the American West. He passed away in 2025, leaving behind a legacy of work that continues to resonate for its inventive use of materials and quietly poetic spirit.
