Mellow Summer Afternoon, Polgrean, This painting was always about drinking in up one of those heavenly summer days. Days which you wish would go on for a bit longer. Summer fruit is piled up in grocers, beautifully scented , flowers are everywhere and the afternoon is mellow. It all unwinds you.
