Magnificent set of three French oil on canvas paintings made in the chinoiserie revival period of 19th century, Europe. The center painting features a large peacock in a tree above a rooster with grasses, birds, and foliage. The other two panels feature framed pictures of two beauties in blue kimonos. One is playfully depicted on a swing and the other is seated by a pond. The pictures are set in beautifully serene decorated flora and fauna backgrounds with blossoming cherry trees and persimmon.
