This is a mid-19th century lithograph of the Washington Monument. These were made to raise money to build the monument. The inscription below the lithograph reads "Robert Mills Arch. and Lith. of Wm. Edicott and Co. N.Y.". C. G. Crehen was the artist. Has the facsimile signature of John Quincy Adams among others. Hand-Crafted Paper. circa 1840s
