Russian-American artist, Ruben Kupur (1887 - 1976), was born in Lithuania and immigrated to the United States in 1907. He is known for his paintings and sculptures. The present work is typical of Kupur's colorful, fanciful landscapes. Signed lower right, wood frame, under glass. Image measures 17.5" W x 17.5" H. Frame appears to be ca. 1930s.
