Untitled Oil painting on canvas Signed illegibly to the lower left There's something very special about this painting. It's somehow lighthearted and glum at the same time. I've tried heartily to identify the artist, with no success. It invokes the grittiness of a late 19th/early 20th century cityscape, and the subject appears to be a young paperboy, smoking a cigarette. Perhaps New York City? London? Attractive and appropriate frame. Framed: 1.25" W x 37.25" H x 1.5" D Image: 23.25" W x 29.5" H.
