Beautiful mid-century 1940's watercolor of a bucolic farmhouse scene - sunset, undulating clouds, and grazing cows - by Thelma Fike Rodenhorst (American, 20th Century). Signed "T. Fike Rodenhorst 8/40", (August 1940) lower right corner. Border painted over paper tape by artist, tiny repair to paper on back. Unframed. Image size: 15" X 18". Thelma Fike Rodehorst was a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she joined Alpha Delta Theta, and she taught art at Grand Island schools.
