A fine pair of Chinoiserie figures framed in the most interesting "floating" frames. The prints are sandwiched between glass so it appears that they are floating inside the frame. These are from the prestigious Soicher-Marin galleries in California, well known for their beautiful selection of framed art for over 65 years. The nice thing about the unique way these are framed is that whatever wall you hand them on determines the inner frame border. If you are a lover of patterns and have beautiful wallpaper that will become the "mat" for the picture. I photographed them on some fabrics to show you what I mean, the pattern will show through the glass. The frame itself is black with a burl wood face.
