The artist is a lover of the outdoors, and an avid gardener. Mixed Greens is a composite of various shapes and colors in her garden: rock wall, bushes, trees, groundcover, etc. This acrylic painting is on gallery wrapped canvas. It is initialed on the front and signed on the back, and has a UV protective varnish. It is in a black wood floater frame with a narrow gold front edge, which is wired and ready to hang. Laurie MacMillan has enjoyed numerous awards and solo exhibitions, and has had pieces selected for over a hundred juried group shows.
