Born in Nova Iguaçu and lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. Son of Syrian immigrants, he painted his first picture when he was 11. At the age of 19 he moved to Damascus, returning to Nova Iguaçu nine years later, leaving everything else aside to devote himself to art.
