Mark Buku selects a primary palette and a cubist style to explore the many kinds of music. Different instruments send swirling notes across the canvas, linking sounds and listeners. Although the composition seems spontaneous, a horizontal grid bisects the images, and four vertical divisions seem to define separate spaces.
