Dated lower left, '1942', titled on old backing, 'My Favorite Model' and created by Sarah Hobson (American, 1893-1985) and accompanied by certificate of authenticity. Sarah Villarette Hoover Hobson studied at the Art Institute of Chicago in the 1920s before moving to California where she continued to paint and exhibit through the 1960's.
