This beautiful pochoir was created from an original work (circa 1917) by French illustrator and sculptor Henri Laurens. The piece was published by the modernist art review "XXE Siecle" in Paris. XXE Siecle (The 20th Century Review) was a periodical that focused on the contemporaries in the art world, founded by Gualtieri di San Lazzaro. The Xxe magazine is regarded as a pivotal moment in the development of a modern art, as well as providing artists with a new method of reaching their audience.
