A large scale version of a piece I painted 5 years ago, "Aperol Spritz", this is an abstract depiction of four things that inspire me coming together on one canvas: mountains, blue sky, an emerald ocean and a beach full of orange umbrellas. A coastal scene that could be anywhere from the Mediterranean to California. I wanted this painting to inspire through color and form, it's wherever the viewer wishes to it to be. And who doesn't like the idea of a cold drink with a twist of orange?
