Medium is oil on masonite. Our client purchased over 40 years ago in NYC at auction but does not have any paperwork to detail provenance. Painting is signed and dated 1944 in lower left as shown - attributed to Benton. Frame appears to be original as well and is heavily carved. Painting depicts a farmer's son. No other provenance unfortunately.
