Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a beautiful painting from Keil’s “Junge Wilde” collection and executed on a canvas like cloth. Oftentimes, Keil painted on cloth he had before being able to afford canvas. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower center. The art is in great condition with typical signs of age and wear. This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
