Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a stunning piece from Keil’s “Junge Wilde” collection he created in Berlin. It was executed on a canvas like cloth. Oftentimes, before Peter could afford canvas, he painted on cloth he had. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower left corner and was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear.
