This painting was created in 1972. When I first saw it, my mind said to me "looks like the first bar code". I find this painting more and more abstract each time I examine it. It is colorful, it has several layers of images that continue to change as you study the painting. It can be described in one word/adjective used by a famous boxer, that word is "Marvelous."
